Instructions

  1. This is a 27 question test. It carries 25 marks. You have 30 minutes.
  2. The paper has four parts. Part A is the warm up. Part B moves into concepts applied to everyday situations. Part C asks you to think more carefully, and the options in that section are all designed to sound reasonable at first, so read them closely. Part D is a short quick fire round on market awareness.
  3. Pick one answer per question. You can move between questions and change answers until you submit, or until time runs out.
  4. Use a rough sheet for any working out.
  5. When the timer ends, the test closes and your answers are sent automatically. Do not refresh or close this page during the test.
  6. After you finish we email your score, the questions you missed, and why the correct option is right. That letter arrives about an hour later. Email is required. Use an address you can check.

Financial decisions in real life depend on your family, your income, your community, and your goals. There is not one right answer for every household. This test does not measure what is right for your specific situation. It measures how you reason about money as a general skill. Answer what you think the best general answer is.
